We’re seeking the straight-up talent of being able to write for multiple channels, shifting structure to match the medium.

The job title is PR & Social Strategist, but it’s a position of many requirements: Digital Content Guru. Social Media Specialist. Public Relations Paragon. Multimedia Marketing Strategist. Super Fun & Creative Professional. If these are all roles you can manage, we’d love to meet you.

Do you have the skill to success?

  • Social Media Strategy, Planning, Implementation & Reporting:
    • Developing an overall content strategy and an implementation plan across multiple client assets including web, social networks, mobile, email, etc.
    • Developing content to support online content strategy
    • Completing digital content audits and making channel and content recommendations
    • Serving as primary advisor for clients on social channels, including social networks, content sharing sites, blogs, etc.
    • Staying on top of all news, trends, events and happenings relevant to our clients, and takes a proactive approach at creating responsive, relevant and/or promotional messaging
    • Analyzing performance of social and digital programs to optimize content and brand strategies
    • Tracking and measuring content effectiveness via web metrics
    • Monitoring and measuring digital campaign progress against project goals and specific campaign objectives
  • PR Strategy, Implementation, Results & Reporting
    • Developing and implementing PR plans
      • Identifying media contacts for specific clients and projects, and facilitating all aspects of media relations, including: developing media strategy, creating and maintaining media lists, developing content for media materials, drafting media pitches and pitching to media, coordinating media interviews, tracking media clips and creating media coverage reports
    • Conducting blogger outreach, including researching relevant bloggers and creating blogger lists
    • Assisting with special events, from planning and coordination through to execution

Can you fulfill these requirements?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Communications, Journalism or other related field
  • 3-5 years experience in PR and social media in an agency or marketing firm environment
  • Proven success with all forms of communications, and in particular digital channels
  • Required software skills include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail, accuracy, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage and execute strategic plans
  • Self-motivated with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a team environment
