Steve Radick, VP, Director of Public Relations, Brunner
Steve is VP, Director of Public Relations at Brunner in Pittsburgh, one of the top independent advertising agencies in the U.S. At Brunner, he’s responsible for creating and implementing integrated marketing strategies for clients including 84 Lumber, Huffy, Owens Corning, and Compact Power Equipment Rental. Most recently, he led the public relations efforts for AdWeek’s #1 Super Bowl commercial – 84 Lumber’s Super Bowl commercial, “The Journey Begins.” Prior to that, he worked at both Booz Allen Hamilton and Cramer-Krasselt, supporting clients ranging from Porsche and Corona to the U.S. Navy and Director of National Intelligence.
He has authored the Social Media Strategery blog for the last seven years and his writing has appeared in publications like GovLoop, PRWeek, PRDaily, and Entrepreneur Magazine, books like THINK Public Relations and Global Content Marketing and has spoken at events sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), UBM TechWeb and many others.
- Responsible for retaining members, recruiting and activating chapter membership
- Work with other board members to ensure all communications and programming maximizes the value the chapter provides to our members
Goals for 2018:
- Facilitate one-on-one meetings between the PRSA Pittsburgh Chapter Board of Directors and every chapter member.
- Increase the percentage of PRSSA to PRSA membership conversion rate.
