Stacey Federoff, Graduate Assistant, Point Park University Center for Media Innovation
Managing social media, planning events and teaching media literacy, Stacey Federoff works as a graduate assistant at Point Park University’s Center for Media Innovation while earning Master of Arts in Communications (Public Relations concentration) and Master of Business Administration degrees.
A versatile communicator, Federoff interned with the marketing department at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business and has worked on writing and editing projects for the likes of WQED, Edinboro University and Pittsburgh Magazine. After earning a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Penn State University, she spent eight years as a professional journalist, working for the Pittsburgh Business Times as a digital producer, Beaver County Times as a copy editor, and Tribune-Review as a reporter. She serves as president of Point Park’s newly revived Graduate Student Association and has served for five years as president of the Women’s Press Club of Pittsburgh.
A native of Sutersville, Pa., Federoff co-leads the annual West Newton Avenue of Flags services project, loves collecting records, rock climbing and Halloween. As her about what it’s like to work at ScareHouse when you send her a twee to @BySFederoff.
