Digital Content Specialist, The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy

The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented and creative individual to join its communications staff to help manage, produce and create content for the organization’s digital platforms, including for its websites, social media platforms and enewsletters.
Major responsibilities for this position include managing two websites, videography, creating digital content for a variety of platforms, photography and managing graphic design projects with contractors. The successful candidate will also write engaging content for digital pieces and bring fresh ideas for repurposing existing print and digital content.

Candidates must have:

  • At least three years of experience managing websites created in WordPress, three years of experience creating and editing video, and have experience creating content for social media
  • Bachelor’s degree in digital media, multimedia communication, communications, public relations, digital writing, video journalism, videography or website design or equivalent degree or professional experience is required.
  • Good project management and interpersonal skills, and be highly organized, results-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Additional skills and prior experience using WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and using a drone are preferred. Having a background, knowledge and/or interest in conservation and preservation is a plus.
