PR Senior Account Executive, Bolt Public Relations

Bolt Public Relations, an award-winning, independently owned public relations, digital marketing, events and marketing communications agency, is looking for an experienced PR pro to join our Pittsburgh team! This is an opportunity for a highly organized and results-driven professional to grow in a fast-paced environment. Bolt clients span a wide variety of industries, including technology, healthcare, education, nonprofit, fitness, beauty, and restaurant and hospitality.

Essential responsibilities include:

• Account leadership and strategy development
• Team supervision and leading teams to achieve results
• Serving as a trusted advisor to clients, leading strategy, daily communication and weekly reports
• Media relations, including strategy, proactive outreach and interview coordination
• Copywriting and collateral development, including press releases, media advisories, newsletters, articles, press kits, case studies and more
• Planning and executing media events, cross-promotional opportunities and blogger/influencer campaigns
• Business development support

Requirements:

• Minimum four years of public relations experience, preferably in an agency environment
• Outgoing and driven to build relationships with media, consumers, businesses and community groups
• Proven track record of successful account management
• Thorough understanding and proven experience generating quality press coverage regionally and nationally
• Creativity and initiative in brainstorming new ideas, developing plans and problem solving
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of effective social media marketing and advertising
• Proficiency with social media networks including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn
• Beneficial but not required: experience with Facebook/Instagram ads and Google Ads
