Join our network for 150+ communications pros in the Greater Pittsburgh area!
PRSA Pittsburgh consists of more than 150 public relations and communications professionals in the Pittsburgh area. Our members are just like you and come from a diverse range of industries and sectors – business and industry, consultants, independent practitioners, government, associations, hospitals, schools, agencies and nonprofit organizations.
How PRSA Membership Works
Our national organization, PRSA, is the world’s leading advocate for public relations and communications professionals. You must be a member of PRSA National first before you can add a Pittsburgh chapter membership for only an additional $55 annually. As a member of our chapter, you will meet others in our community, engage with experts, learn new public relations and communications strategies, shape your communications career, and have opportunities to participate in networking and leadership at the local and national levels.
When you join PRSA, membership quickly pays for itself. You’ll immediately gain access to a whole host of resources designed to help advance your professional success. Learn more about national membership below or by visiting PRSA.org.
Will Your Employer Cover Your Membership?
Many of our members have their memberships paid for by their employers because they recognize the value of investing in their employee’s professional development. If you are interested in this option, we have created an email template for you to customize and send to your supervisor to help justify the expense.

If more than five people at your organization join PRSA, you are eligible for a group membership. For more information about group members, contact groupmembership@prsa.org.
