PRSA Pittsburgh is pleased to announce its annual PR Summit taking place October 10 – 13, 2022. This year’s theme, “Creating Your Personal Career Roadmap,” will consist of three virtual events, as well as two in-person events taking place at Necromancer Brewery in the North Hills.

The PR industry is ever-evolving, and opportunities abound, however you must know where you are headed in order to ensure you have the right skills and credentials to take you there. The PR Summit is an opportunity to get intentional about your career. Learn from senior leaders in a variety of specialties including executive communications, corporate social responsibility, community and government relations, and DEI; ranging in industries such as health care, banking, retail and non-profit.

In this virtual session, we’ll talk with experts in their field about how their careers started and what decisions they made along the way that got them to this point. You’ll hear career advice and lessons learned, interesting stories and we’ll touch on what keeps them up at night—because PR careers are never boring!

Building Buzz with Duolingo + Crisis Communications Workshop

Join a panel session at 7 p.m. with the PR and marketing leaders of Duolingo on the evolution and growth of the iconic Pittsburgh-based brand that is changing how we learn new languages.

Prior to that, to start off the night at 6 p.m., Pittsburgh-based strategic communication and crisis management agency, C4CS®, will host a crisis communications presentation for attendees.
